Whole-home remodels.
An older home, brought fully up to standard.

Silverstone Building takes on whole-home remodels across the Seattle area: layout, finishes, and the systems behind them. These generally run $150–$450/sq ft, and $350–$650+/sq ft for a full gut, over roughly six to ten months depending on scope.
What it covers.
Comprehensive renovations that touch most or all of a home (layout, finishes, and the systems behind them): structure, electrical, plumbing, insulation, and code upgrades. It's the most involved work we do, and often the most rewarding.
Our approach.
A whole-home remodel is really a series of projects that have to be sequenced, coordinated, and lived through: sometimes while you're still in the house. Planning is everything here: the order of work, the long-lead selections, the trades, and the honest conversation about timeline and budget. This is where our pre-construction work earns its keep.
What to consider.
You may need to move out, or plan around living in it. We'll help you think through phasing and what's realistic.
Old houses come up to current code as you go. Structural, electrical, and energy requirements can add scope; better to plan for them than be surprised by them.
A project this size needs a real team. Architect, designer, engineers: we help bring the right people together and keep them coordinated.
Indicative cost.
