Silverstone Building

Most problems start before anyone picks up a hammer.

A remodel goes wrong when the plan was never realistic: a design that didn't account for the budget, the site, or how the house was actually built. We work to get all of that settled before construction starts, so the surprises are fewer and the ones that do come up are manageable.

The difficult ones are where we do our best work.

Structurally demanding projects. Hard access. Homes that hide a century of other people's decisions. These are the jobs a lot of builders quietly avoid, and they're the ones we're built for: the everyday tricky remodel just as much as the occasional project on a remote island.

A builder's voice, from before the first drawing.

We don't design, and we don't pretend to. We work alongside your architect, designer, and engineer, and we get involved early, while the plan is still on paper and changes are still cheap. Our job in that phase is to keep the design buildable and grounded in what it will actually cost, so you aren't finding out at bid time that the plan was never within reach.

Straight answers on cost and schedule.

We'd rather have the uncomfortable conversation early than the expensive one later. That means we provide real numbers as soon as we can responsibly give them, a clear scope about what's included and what isn't, and no changes to the contract without your sign-off first. We publish our cost ranges openly.

Craftsmanship starts where you'll never see it.

The framing behind the drywall, the waterproofing under the tile, the transitions most people walk past: that work is what everything visible rests on. Done right, the finished room still looks right in twenty years. Done poorly, no amount of finish work will hide it.

What working with us looks like

Six steps, the same for every project: from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, with no surprises about what happens next or when.
